August 29, 2004 Camp Hope leads service as we say good bye to Anna Anderson

On August 29, 2004 the Camp Hope team lead our services as we thanked Anna Anderson a Seminarian for the time she spent with our congregation during the summer.

The team took on the roles of the worship leaders, did a short skit and projected some pictures  from their work project is Frostburg.

Camp Hope is a christian work camp that St. Paul youth are given an opportunity to participate in each summer.  The youth volunteer for a week in the summer to help those out in need with home fix-up projects in the  Frostburg Maryland area.

The team recreated a skit that they did at vespers during their time at Camp Hope.

Anna Anderson holds up some tokens of the congregations appreciation.  She became part of our ministry team from the Gettysburg Seminar during the 2004 summer while Pastor Ginny was on sabbatical.  The members of St. Paul wish her well as she enters the call process looking to start her ministry as a pastor.

Camp Hope team members continued their reputation for doing the "high work" along with assistance from other church members and the Frederick County animal control officer as they rescued a cat from the church roof after the 8:15AM service.  During the rescue the cat jumped to a near by tree and safely declined to the ground.
Thanks to the youth, advisors, and contributors who have given their time, talents and resources to support this very meaningful program.  Special thanks to Mark and Jody who have continued to lead this effort at St. Paul.
