Youth Fast

On March 26th and 27th a dozen youth, their leaders and Pastor Price fasted for 24 hours to raise funds for the Lutheran World Hunger Appeal and  increase awareness of those in need.  During the fast they did hunger related informational activities, like discovering more about particular countries including how vital water is to developing nations. 

During the fast they also performed jobs for the congregation like preparing for the Easter Egg hunt, and packing boxes in the food bank.  On the 27th they joined with others in the congregation on a trip to the Grotto to do the stations of the cross.  The fast was broken  with a dinner from the St. Paul Social ministry group.
