 On
December 24, 2003 about 160 people from Jefferson and the surrounding
communities joined together on the Charles Smith's farm for the Come
to the Stable service. The service featured a living nativity
performed by the children of the congregation (and some visiting Brownie
angels!). As the Shew family discussed the meaning of each participant
in the navity story, the characters placed the figures in the manger.
